Hard to believe that this baby can sleep through all the horn blasting and the crazy weaving his dad will be doing in order to get through the Delhi traffic. The driving here is too funny and trying to walk across the street is like playing chicken-chicken. The horn blasting is non-stop and I've decided that I want a walker's horn.
The New Delhi metro is wonderful! It's clean, efficient, fast, and has a car only for women. The security getting into the metro is just like at an airport: bags are screened as are the riders. There are two stops close to our apartment so it's the perfect way to get around Delhi.
Had our volunteer orientation today and tomorrow we start working at our placement.
